The Nigeria Association of Auctioneers (NAA) has set in motion internal mechanism to settle their age long differences. For some years now, the association has been enmeshed in internal wrangling which led to a division amongst them. As a result of this, two factions emerged with each having its National President and Excos. But presently all National officers of the association has been dissolved. While Auctioneer Alhaji Kiliya was the President of one faction, Auctioneer Alhaji Musa Kura became the President of the second faction. Today, reason is prevailing as the association; through the peace efforts of Osun State Public Relations Officer of the Association Dr. Ekundayo Balogun, who was the convener of the Ibadan peace meeting achieved huge success for the reconciliation and peace efforts. Sequel to this, another final south west peace talk has been re-arranged in the city of Ibadan on Thursday, 24th of October, 2024. It is hoped that a national peace and reconciliation meeting would be held in due course.
